The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association welcomes The Maryel School of New York
The Maryel School of New York has joined The Murray Hill Neighborhood Association community as a large business member. Maryel is an independent, co-educational and bilingual Spanish/English school serving students from nursery through the 5th grade.
To carry out its mission, Maryel unites the educational systems of Spain and the United States. The educational system of Spain is traditionally considered to be one of the most rigorous, intellectually demanding and culturally rich academic models in Europe. The American educational system is characterized by its pragmatism, collaborative work and creativity. Maryel School of New York is a harmonious combination of both systems which offers students an education that is comparable to the most prestigious, independent schools found in both the United States and Europe. When children are exposed to two different languages, they learn to be more tolerant and respectful of other cultures and traditions, and this enables them to become more responsible and active citizens of the world.
Founder Celine Cacho had the vision that the Maryel School would help students discover, develop and express their unique talents, and this would encourage students to reach their academic, social, and emotional potential in a challenging and supportive environment.
Maryel School of New York is located in historic Murray Hill in a charming townhouse at 28 East 35th Street (between Madison & Park Avenues). Their facility has been recently renovated to provide a rich environment for learning and growth. You can arrange for a tour of their facilities by contacting them by telephone at 212-213-2097 or by email at email@example.com. Their website is www.maryelschool.org.
