Gallery35 presents its second exhibit in a series focusing on CONTRAST in art. SUNSHINE • SHADOWS, a solo exhibit, features the work of Gallery35 fiber artist Jody Leight. In traditional quilting, the phrase “Sunshine and Shadows” refers to arrangements of quilt blocks creating a strong contrast of light and dark colors, often used in wedding quilts to reflect the ups and downs of marriage. The exhibit includes several quilting and embroidery styles and techniques.
