The museum has one of the finest collections of canine-related art. The special exhibits and permanent collection combine fine arts with cutting edge technology and interpretation. The Museum of the Dog provides unique and engaging experiences for visitors of all ages.
The permanent collection of the museum is one of the finest and largest collections of canine-related fine art and artifacts in the world. It comprises paintings, watercolors, drawings, prints, ceramics and bronzes. Additionally, objects such as trophies, collars and other dog-related works are included in the collection.

The Community Wall uses a combination of digital and physical presentations of artwork and projects produced by visitors at the nearby activity table.
LIBRARY & ARCHIVES
The AKC maintains one of the largest libraries devoted to dogs in the world, containing approximately 16,000 volumes, and the only national repository dedicated to history, sport, and art of the purebred dog. It has been providing internal and external reference on all manners of dog-related inquiries since 1934.

AKC.TV is a brand new digital OTT network especially for dog lovers. The network, presented by The American Kennel Club (AKC®), brings 24/7 original dog-centric content to viewers.
Look for unique and curious gifts and publications in the AKC Museum of the Dog shop. The shop carries dog-related items from the studio of John Derian and offers branded wear, including caps, shirts and totes carrying the Museum’s new logo featuring Arty, the star of their mobile app.
The museum is available for rent to groups from 10 to 200. Catering and private sit-down dinners can be arranged through the adjacent Club 101.
