Short Profile

Reform temple with a cozy, informal, family atmosphere

The Metropolitan Synagogue was established in 1959. They are a reform temple with a cozy, informal, family atmosphere. They are an egalitarian community. They welcome all families, children, individuals, and couples to their services! They are a hamish and friendly extended family.

For over fifty years, they have used music as a powerful vessel through which one can pray and bring together a community, while keeping the richness of the Jewish culture and religion alive.

They celebrate their cultural diversity and heritage as expressed through performance, the written word, and inspirational educational programming.

Please drop by for one of their Shabbat services. Their Shabbat services are held Friday evenings at 6pm. Check their website for exact dates and times.
