Military personnel and special federal voters should check the calendar for their dates. 

July 5     Change of party enrollment received by the BOE after July 5th is effective immediately. Any change of enrollment made between Feb 15-July 5th, shall be effective July 5th.
October 23               Change of address deadline for General Election.
  Absentee Ballot application - Last day for board of elections to RECEIVE Absentee Ballot application or letter of application by mail or online portal for general election ballot. Absentee ballot information vote.nyc/absentee. You can check the status of your absentee ballot request at nycabsentee.com
October 28 Voter Registration Deadline for General Election: Last day application must be received by board of elections to be eligible to vote in general election. vote.nyc/page/register-vote.
October 28  - November 5       Early Voting Period. Voters must vote at their assigned Early Voting site. Early Voting Site may be different than Election Day Site. Visit Poll Site locator at findmypollsite.vote.nyc to find your Early Voting or Election Day poll site. If you are voting at a different poll site you may vote by affidavit. 
  October 28 - October 30    9am - 5pm
  October 31     8am - 4pm
  November 1 - 2    10am - 8pm
  November 3    8am - 4pm
  November 4 - 5    9am - 5pm
November 6 Absentee Ballot application - Last day to apply in person for Absentee Ballot for general election. 
November 7 Election Day.  Polls are open from 6am - 9pm. Voters must vote at their assigned Voting site. Visit Poll Site locator at findmypollsite.vote.nyc to find your Election Day poll site. If you are voting at a different poll site you may vote by affidavit. 
  If mailing ballot, last day to postmark general election ballot. Must be received by the county board no later than Nov 14th
  Last day to deliver general election ballot in person to your county board or your poll site, by close of polls on election day.
