Business Networking Event and Panel Discussion “Your Restaurant, Your Neighbor”
Friday, July 14, 2017
The Murray Hill business networking event, hosted by Covina at the Park South Hotel, took place on July 12. It included a panel discussion, “Your Restaurant, Your Neighbor,” and also gave Murray Hill businesses an opportunity to network. Panelists were Murray Hill Neighborhood Association business members, representing a cross-section of old and new, large and small Murray Hill restaurants, from all over the neighborhood. The panelists were Eddie Bergman from Hill & Bay, Nancy Cushman from Covina, Steve Olsen from Dock’s Oyster Bar, and Tommy Tardie from Fine & Rare. Moderator Lilli Seidman Davis asked the participants questions about their businesses, challenges and customers, and there was time for questions from the audience as well.
The MHNA is very grateful to Covina for providing us with breakfast at their private meeting space at 127 East 27th Street. We also thank Egads AV and Computer Rental for providing audio-visual equipment and raffle donors Blue Nan Nan Nails, Pershing Square Café and Sachi Asian Bistro. These sponsorships and donations make it possible to provide free business networking events.
The Business Networking Events are organized by the MHNA Business Committee, co-chaired by Lilli Seidman Davis and Michael-Ann Rowe. The mission of the Business Committee is to help Murray Hill businesses thrive. Look for the upcoming business networking events in the bi-weekly Upcoming Events eblasts and on the MHNA website calendar.
