Walking tour through the tree-lined streets of historic Murray Hill, passing through the Historic District and by the 251 houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

You will be greeted by a docent at each of the 15 landmark buildings in historic Murray Hill for a discussion of the architect, builder, owners, residents and other historic information.

A reception will be held at the end of the tour at a landmarked historic club.

Check-in and start tour at 1:30pm.

Tour starts at Scandinavia House, 58 Park Avenue (between 37th and 38th Street). You will receive a tour ID, map and guide booklet.

Stroll at your own pace to each indicated landmarked building.

Reception 3:30 - 4:30pm

at the Collectors Club

22 East 35th Street

At the Club, black & white prints, suitable for framing, and note cards of landmarked buildings will be available for purchase.

Proceeds to benefit The Cultural Medallion Program—a program that installs medallions on buildings to commemorate distinguished New Yorkers in the arts, science, politics, business, education and sports who once lived in those buildings.
